“To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.”
Feng Shui and Good Health.
Feng Shui can help you attain good health and prevent serious illness from striking . It is never too early to start applying the principals of Feng Shui to ensure you and your family enjoy good health.
In Feng Shui one of the requirements for a healthy home requires the balance of Yin and Yang as this influences the flow of energy. When there is an imbalance , too much Yin…the house suffers and this will bring sickness. A healthy house must have activity ,light and sound ….Yang energy. The inside of the home must not be dark, too still and quiet as this will cause too much stagnate Yin energy to build up .To combat this, turn on a radio when you go to work , ensure that no rooms in the house go unused for long periods of time and that there are no dark corners in the home.
The placement of the bed is a vital contributing factor to good health.. …if the bed is placed incorrectly you are aligning your bed towards negative energy and this will cause your energy to drain as you sleep.
Your bed should be placed against a solid wall. The reason for placing the bed against a solid wall is to give the sleeping person’s head protection. Ideally the bed will have a solid bed head or headboard and you should be able to walk around the bed. The ideal Feng Shui spot for your bed is the Feng Shui command position. The Feng Shui commanding position is the area further from the door/diagonally from the door, but not in line with it, you want to be able to see the door while you are in bed, but not be aligned with the door.If you can place your bed in your best health direction you will sleep your way to good health or possible try to place your bed in one of your other good Feng Shui directions.
Avoid placing your bed in line with any other doors …. balcony doors, bathroom door, walk-in closet or patio doors. If your bed is in line with any door, position a piece of furniture between the bed and the door. You are at your most vulnerable when you sleep, so it’s crucial that your feet are not in line with anything that can drain your energy .
To keep your bedroom Feng Shui healthy…ensure you do not sleep with mirrors facing your bed, remove all water features and limit (or completely eliminate!) the electrical appliances in your bedroom.Look around your room for any sharp protruding corners that may be hitting you while you sleep …and for overhead beams ,these are all called “poison arrows “in Feng Shui.
The East corners in your home represent good health .If these corners have good Feng Shui then whole family will enjoy good health luck. So aside from the bed placements enhance the East corners to look after your health.Beautiful healthy plants placed in the East will activate Health luck for everyone who lives in that home .Remember to always remove dead and diseased plants as they will attract bad energy . However the East corner in your bedroom is the one place you do not place plants as it is not a Feng Shui practice to place plants in the bedroom.
The only plants that you do not place in your home are cacti .Cactuses with their thorns aren’t considered auspicious in Feng Shui as they become ‘poison arrows’ and these will not be good for the your health.
