Have you got a Lucky Door.

Have you got the right colour door, is your house the right colour? The colour of your door and your house can affect your life in general…success, wealth, health. In Feng Shui a practitioner uses the 5 element theory to choose colours that are in harmony with the facing direction of the house. This harmony flows onto the lives of the household.

Let me tell you a story to explain how this theory works. A friend of mine bought a house with a lucky no..80.The previous owners apparently could not pay for any repairs or council rates so the house was seized by the council and auctioned. This house should have been a very lucky house…it backed onto a beautiful bay..what went wrong?

The house faced West. A west house is a Metal house and the compatible colours are white, grey and gold. However the front door was painted Red, a Fire colour and Fire element. The element fire destroys the metal element. When the previous owners painted the front door RED the fire energy destroyed the Metal energy of the house and the Yin and Yang of the residents suffered. Lots of people feel painting the front door red will bring them luck, this is incorrect. Red is only used for front doors facing South. On my advise the front door was promptly repainted white. Today my friends are enjoying a very happy life in their new home and the good energy has flowed onto the business they started…that is flourishing…all thanks to a LUCKY door (and a luck house number)

To make full use of this article, you have to take a compass reading of your front door. To get the facing direction of your front door you should be inside your home directly facing the front door with the compass in the palm of your hand ( all jewellery removed for an accurate reading).

If your front door faces North, it is placed in the Career sector and is the Water element of your home. The colours that represent water are Blue, Black and deep Purple The secondary colours are White and the metallic colours silver and gold. Use the power of black for promoting wealth and purple for prosperity, both these colours used in the North will generated income.

Avoid painting your house or front door any of the Earth colours ….Yellow and Beige and also Reds and Oranges or Wood colours Greens and Browns as these do not support the water element of the North.

If your door faces South it is placed in the Recognition and Fame sector and the element is Fire. The colours that represent the South are Reds and Oranges. Red means Passion, strength, luck and happiness. Orange stands for optimism, it promotes positive energy. If you feel red is too strong a colour, use orange, it is social colour. The secondary colours to use in the South are yellow, green and brown..Yellow is the colour of happiness and signifies sunlight.

Avoid painting your house or front door any of the Water colours Blue, Black and a deep Purple or Earth colours, Yellow and Beige and also Reds and Oranges, as both water and earth do not support the fire element of the South.

The West is the Descendants Luck sector and the North West the Mentor Luck sector. These are the Metal Elements of your home and the colours that represent the West and North West are White, Silver and Grey.

If your house faces on of these directions do not use any of the Fire colours Reds and Orange or the Water colours, Blue Black and a deep Purple as these colours do not support the metal element of the West and NW.
